A small family run hotel with fantastic views of the spectacular mountain scenery, a very special find.
Built against the hillside, 21km from Praia (an approximate 30-40 minute journey time), this delightful privately owned hotel is the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the tranquility of its surroundings. With a warm welcome, the atmosphere at this hotel is like visiting friends at their rural retreat. The rooftop restaurant serves traditionally cooked, home grown produce and there is a bar with a small observatory for viewing the mountains and night sky.
Guest rooms are simply furnished and split betweCommunal balconies surround two sides of the hotel and face out towards the impressive scenery; on a clear day it is possible to see the island of Maio. There are some excellent walks to take from the Quinta and it is possible to climb to Santiago’s highest mountain, Pico de Antónia (1394m) with a guide that can be arranged locally.
