What We Think
The Crioula is an excellent all-inclusive choice for a relaxing beach holiday. The hotel has had a full refurbishment and the facilities and accommodation are to a very good standard. Combine that with a superb beachfront location and you have something of a hidden gem.
Staying in comfortable, light and airy rooms with either a balcony or terrace, you will be on either the ground or first floor overlooking the well maintained gardens and never very far from the hotel's amenities, including the pool area at the heart of the hotel. There is a good choice of dining in the main restaurant or à la carte in the speciality fish restaurant – both of which are on the beachfront, not to mention a selection of bars at which you can while away the hours. If you want to venture out, Santa Maria with its growing selection of bars and restaurants, is a 15 minute walk away along the glorious sweep of the main beach.
With day and evening entertainment rotated weekly and an international animation team you will have plenty of chances to join in if you wish. There is also the 'Wellrelax' beauty salon offering treatments if you wish to pamper yourself whilst on your holiday, and bicycle rental if you wish.

Our opinion: The Crioula is very relaxing compared with other all-inclusive hotels without compromising on facilties and standards of service.
