What We Think
The Djadsal is a large and lively club style hotel with excellent facilities. It’s great for families as there’s always plenty going on, from beach and poolside activities to organised entertainment throughout the day and evening.
The hotel is designed in a contemporary Moorish fashion with plenty of bright warm colours. There are a couple of shops onsite, as well as a bar and a fine restaurant. The huge pool tends to be the focal point though, as its here that most of the activities take place – from water polo to dance and aerobics classes. Other activities fan out across the hotel grounds including volleyball, mini golf and even a small amphitheatre.
The wide stretch of the Santa Maria beach is directly in front of the hotel, and runs for over a kilometre in either direction. There is always plenty going on out here too, with a beach football game never far away. Though due to the size of the beach you’ll always be able to find yourself a nice secluded spot to laze in the sun. The town of Santa Maria is only a ten minute stroll away, where you’ll find bars, restaurants and shops. Located in the grounds of the hotel is Cabo Verde diving school.
Our opinion: A friendly, well designed club style hotel offering bed & breakfast and all-inclusive option.
