Temperatures during the months between November and April tend to hover around in the high 20s and there is virtually no rain. There is also between 8 and 10 hours of sunshine each and every day during these months - plenty of time to soak up the winter sun on the beach or lazing by the pool.
It could be said that the islands come alive during these 'winter' months with the resorts bustling and alive with tourists and market traders. The hotels tend to be full around this time and of an evening the restaurants and bars are in full swing with live music apparent everywhere. That said, compared to say the Canaries, the Cape Verde Islands do not feel overcrowded even in peak season.
