Cape Verde Fishing

The Cape Verde Islands and the surrounding waters are home to an extraordinary richness of marine life.

From colourful shoals of smaller fish including wahoo, albacore and yellowfin tuna, to larger predatory species such as hammerhead and tiger sharks, the waters are spectacular in their sheer abundance. Naturally, this means the sea fishing around the islands is of an exceptional quality and the chances of a good catch are very high!

If you want to experience the odd day fishing with local fishermen and using traditional methods then, half or full day arrangements can be booked through our representative.

However, if you are a blue water, deep sea fishing enthusiast, and are looking for a complete fishing package we recommend that you contact the specialists, World Sport Fishing who will be able to give you expert advice. We have worked for several years in other areas in West Africa and they are currently putting together their operation in Cape Verde.
