São Vicente – Full Day Tour
The first stop on this tour is the panoramic viewpoint of Fortim. From here you travel through the Avenida Marginal to the municipal market, the Torre de Belém, the fish market and Praça Estrela. Travelling on towards Calhau you pass through the agricultural area, the extinct volcano and Praia Grande before heading back to town for lunch. After lunch its time to discover the natural part of the island; Monte Verde and the beautiful bay Baía das Gatas where once a year the famous music festival takes place and there is time for a quick dip! On the way back we pass through the fisherman’s village of Salamansa before travelling back to your hotel.

Half Day Tour
After a brief stop at the panoramic viewpoint of Fortim, you will then travel through the Avenida Marginal to the municipal market, the Torre de Belém and the fish market. Heading up to Monte Verde, the highest point on the island you will then descend from this point to Baía das Gatas, well known for the August festival. At this stop there will be time for a quick dip! On the way back to your hotel you will pass through the fisherman’s village of Salamansa.

Discover the secrets of Mindelo by night. Dinner is taken in a ‘typical’ local restaurant with live music and then after you will be guided around this cultural and musical city.

Sunday Lunch Cape Verdean Style
Every Sunday a large buffet with live music takes place near the sea at Calhau where Cape Verdean atmosphere and flavour are guaranteed.

Full Day Trip to Santo Antão Island
After your transfer from your hotel to Mindelo’s harbour the ferry boat travels over to Porto Novo (approximately 1 hour). On arrival at Santo Antão a mini-bus will be waiting for you to take you up to the crater of the Cova volcano, 1.100m high. You can then enjoy a soft trek along one of the greenest valleys of the island up to Passagem, alternatively, you can choose to go up to Pico da Cruz by mini-bus and enjoy the forest of pine trees and a panoramic view over Vale de Paú before continuing to Paúl for lunch. You will also visit Ribeira Grande, Ponta do Sol and Fontaínhas before heading back to Porto Novo for the return ferry.
